Citizen Smith is the independent art studio of illustrator and designer Sophie Smith, based in Leeds.

It began with a lifelong love of film, television and music — the scenes, characters, places and songs that stay with us long after the credits roll. Sophie turns those references into original hand-drawn illustrations and clean, design-led prints made to live in real homes, not disappear into a drawer of memorabilia.

Every piece starts with an idea, a sketch or one small detail that makes a story instantly recognisable. The finished artwork is refined with the eye of a designer: strong composition, considered colour and enough restraint to let fellow fans discover the reference for themselves.

Made independently in Britain.

Prints are produced to order using archival pigment inks on fine-art paper. Each one is checked, signed and carefully flat-packed by Sophie in a sturdy cardboard mailer with a protective backing board, tissue paper and a printed thank-you note.

Citizen Smith is proudly small and independent. That means thoughtful work, careful packaging and a real person behind every order.
